Job Overview

The Principal SME Engineer is responsible for driving excellence across product families within our manufacturing operations. The role requires a knowledgeable subject matter expert in manufacturing engineering and Energy products and processes, with a strong focus on optimizing product family processes and ensuring consistency, quality, and innovation. The role requires leadership, technical expertise, and a collaborative approach to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Serve as the product family and Center of Excellence subject matter expert for molded products
• Development of high technology advancements that lead to process excellence and intellectual properties
• Drive a culture of change through process benchmarking and optimization through technical expertise
• Collaborate and network across the organization to drive continuous improvements
• Develop process standards that surpass industry competitors
• Develop and deliver training and knowledge sharing applicable to product families and processes to enable organizational learning
• Support strategic business project execution and management
