Overview
As a Technical Sales Development Engineer you'll be the technical cornerstone of our commercial efforts in Mexico. You'll support both pre-sales and post-sales activities, working closely with customers, channel partners, and internal teams to design, deploy, and optimize IP video surveillance solutions tailored to diverse industry needs. Success in this role will be measured by solution adoption, customer satisfaction, and contribution to revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Pre-Sales Support : Deliver compelling product demos and technical presentations; analyze customer requirements and design tailored surveillance architectures; collaborate with sales teams to develop winning proposals and respond to RFPs; conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments; guide customers through proof-of-concept and pilot deployments.
- Post-Sales Support : Assist in system implementation and configuration; provide technical training to customers and partners; troubleshoot and resolve integration or performance issues; ensure smooth handover to support teams and maintain customer satisfaction; act as a trusted advisor for ongoing optimization and upgrades.
- Account & Partner Engagement : Build strong relationships with key accounts and channel partners; support pilots, proof-of-concept deployments, and post-sales onboarding; identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities; conduct training sessions and workshops for stakeholders; represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer briefings.
- Strategic Collaboration : Work closely with account managers to develop winning strategies; identify growth opportunities within existing accounts; share customer feedback with product and engineering teams; stay current with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field3 years of experience in technical sales or systems engineering, ideally in video surveillance, networking, or physical securityStrong understanding of IP networking, video compression, and camera technologiesFluent in Spanish and proficient in EnglishWillingness to travel across Mexico (up to 50%)Additional Details
