Sourcing Engineer - Healthcare (Remote)

Your role
As a Junior Strategic Sourcing Analyst, you will support our healthcare procurement team in executing supplier transitions and cost optimization initiatives. You will learn to collaborate with cross-functional teams while developing skills in sourcing processes and supplier management under the guidance of experienced team members. In this role you will play a key role in :
- Sourcing Process Support : Assist with transfer activities including workflow initiation, legal checklist completion, and P2P processes. Support RFQ development by gathering data and helping create supplier packages. Maintain sourcing documentation and assist with reporting in partnership with the PMO office. Learn and apply regulatory, trade, and internal sourcing requirements.
- Cost Analysis & Data Management : Help analyze cost structures and total landed cost implications under supervision. Support data collection for Performance Improvement Plans between materials teams and suppliers. Assist in business case development by gathering and organizing relevant information. Learn to calculate total landed cost and document savings / transfer impacts.
- Supplier Coordination : Support supplier outreach and follow-up activities. Help gather information on supplier capabilities for decision-making. Assist with supplier performance monitoring and documentation. Support SPMC (Supplier Performance Management & Compliance) and TLC (Total Landed Cost) analyses.
- Team Collaboration : Coordinate with cross-functional partners to gather information and share updates. Track project milestones and deliverables using established tools and templates. Participate in supplier meetings and negotiations to develop skills. Prepare materials for communicating sourcing decisions and impacts.
Your profile
Good conversational English skills (B2, C1, C2)Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field, with interest in healthcare procurement.Foundational analytical capabilities with aptitude for learning cost structure analysis and data-driven approaches.Willingness to learn healthcare systems and tools (Oracle, MWS, Smartsheet, BI, Spotfire), with good working knowledge of Excel and basic data management concepts.Strong attention to detail and ability to track multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.Enthusiastic approach to developing new skills in procurement, supplier management, and healthcare business processes.What you will love about working here
