Human Resources Generalist

Essex Brownell is a global distributor of electrical and industrial products, including magnet wire, motors, drives, insulation, and repair equipment. With over 35 years of experience and distribution centers across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, we deliver reliable supply chain solutions that keep manufacturing operations running smoothly.

As part of our continued growth, we are launching a new facility in Mexico and seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support the opening and ongoing success of this location. This role will play a critical part in building a strong workforce, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive, high-performance culture. The HR Generalist will partner with leadership to implement HR policies, manage employee relations, and drive initiatives that enhance engagement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for the Mexico facility, supporting approximately 30 employees.
• Administer HR programs including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and training.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and ethical standards.
• Support workforce planning and staffing strategies to meet operational needs.
• Champion employee engagement and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Manage HR documentation, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
• Collaborate with leadership on safety, compliance, and organizational development initiatives.
