What you'll do

We're looking for a Mid Backend Engineer with solid experience in Java development to join our engineering team. You’ll be instrumental in building and maintaining the backend services that support Clara’s financial products, collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure systems.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Java ( Spring , Spring Boot )
• Implementing and consuming RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture
• Working with both relational ( PostgreSQL , MySQL ) and NoSQL ( MongoDB , DynamoDB ) databases
• Integrating with event-driven systems using tools like Kafka and RabbitMQ
• Contributing to and improving CI / CD processes and DevOps practices
• Operating in a cloud environment such as AWS , GCP , or Azure
• Participating in agile ceremonies and working in Scrum or Kanban teams
• Writing maintainable, testable code and conducting peer reviews
