Root Cause Analysis Engineer

Overview

Root Cause Analysis Engineer at Siemens Energy. As the lead for RCA / technical failure investigations for GT, GN, and ST topics (primary focus on GT components), you will manage one or more technical failure investigations—from identification to conclusion and mitigation / solution development.

A typical day might look like this :

Work on assigned Root Cause investigations - coordinate cross-functional investigation teams, e.g., fact finder, component design, thermodynamics, lab, materials, experts, etc.; derive conclusions in alignment with the investigation team and experts. Review results, create RCA presentations and reports. Present investigation status and results to management and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead RCA – collaborate with your team members
• Derive most probable root cause(s)
• Elaborate recommendations for mitigation / solution
• Reduce NCCs and help improve financials
• Technical presentations to the customers, significantly improve customer satisfaction
