Senior Data Architect, Professional Services

OverviewThe Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a Senior Data Architect to join AWS.

In this role, you\'ll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives.

You will drive customer success through the cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

You will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to customer needs, gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose migration strategies to AWS.ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement data architectures (Data Lake, Lake House, Data Mesh, etc.).

Engagements include on-site projects proving the use of AWS Data services to support distributed computing solutions that often span private and public cloud services.Deliver on-site technical assessments with partners and customers, participate in pre-sales visits, understand requirements, and create packaged Data & Analytics service offerings.Engage with the customer's business and technology stakeholders to create a vision of a data-driven enterprise; create artifacts that promote code reuse.Collaborate with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services such as Athena, Glue, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, EMR and Redshift.Travel to client locations and deliver professional services as needed, up to 50%.
