Our client is a leading consumer genetics and research company committed to helping people access, understand, and benefit from the human genome. With the world’s largest crowdsourced platform for genetic research, they are dedicated to innovation and improving accessibility.

We are looking for a specalist to join a backoffice team supporting order management, fulfillment, store cart, subscriptions, and customer care tooling. This team focuses on supporting the company’s e-commerce and back-office operations, specifically working on systems related to order management, fulfillment, and online store functionality. The ideal candidate will have experience across a full-stack tech stack including Python / Django, React, PHP, with Magento 2 platform expertise. This role will be instrumental in ensuring smooth, efficient, and scalable e-commerce processes.

Develop and maintain full-stack applications supporting e-commerce and back-office operations.

Build and optimize functionality for order management and fulfillment systems.

Maintain and improve integrations with the Magento 2 platform, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, operations, and marketing to gather requirements and implement scalable solutions.

Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of web applications.

Write and maintain well-structured, testable, and efficient code across front-end and back-end components.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to order processing, fulfillment workflows, and e-commerce operations.

Actively participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

5+ years of experience in full-stack web development.

Strong proficiency in Python and Django for backend development.

Good knowledge of PHP and experience working with the Magento 2 platform.

Experience working on order management, payment processing, and fulfillment systems

Familiarity with e-commerce workflows and back-office operations.

Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and system integrations.

Proficiency in writing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering business value.
