New Fortress Energy is hiring a FLNG Gas Scheduler - Mexico Operations to join our Operations team, based in our Mexico City office.
Support commercial operations by analyzing buyback opportunities, optimizing gas flow to minimize costs and penalties, and aligning operational strategies with commercial agreements.
Contribute to the preparation and review of gas supply budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to ensure financial control and accountability.
Oversee and Support volumetric controls and ensure consistency between scheduled, delivered, and received volumes; Interface with the commercial team on the arrival of LNG Carriers
Coordinate feed gas volume nominations with offshore operations team and Houston
Monitors and tracks LNG inventory and daily natural gas pricing for operations and commercial teams
Work with operations and commercial teams to ensure any imbalances are minimized
Maintain data showing the contractual movements of natural gas.
Prepare production and inventory data to facilitate supply chain planning
Must be physically able to navigate stairs, ladders, narrow doorways, transfer from marine vessels onto offshore facilities and back, etc.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field of study.
~Strong commercial understanding of the natural gas industry.
~ Strong computer skills, including MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
~ Ability to work well with diverse and multidisciplinary teams, including commercial, operations and accounting teams.
~ Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
