Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CRM Engineering Manager to lead our CRM technology initiatives. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and strategic ownership of CRM systems and integrations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in at least one major CRM platform (Salesforce, Zendesk, Kustomer, Zoho, or similar), hands-on development background in Python / Java microservices, and experience managing cloud-native solutions (AWS / GCP).
As a CRM Engineering Manager, you will guide a team of engineers, set technical direction, implement and integrate new CRM solutions, and ensure delivery of scalable, secure, and customer-centric systems that enhance engagement and operational efficiency.
What you’ll do?
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of CRM and backend engineers (3–4 years of proven people management experience).
- Drive team culture around ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Manage performance reviews, hiring, and career development for team members.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Own the engineering strategy for CRM platforms and integrations.
- Architect, customize, and scale CRM solutions (Salesforce, Zendesk, Kustomer, Zoho, or others).
- Define standards for CRM workflows, data management, and system reliability.
- Partner with business leaders to align CRM technology with customer experience goals.
- Oversee design and development of microservices in Java and Python for CRM integrations and backend processes.
- Define and enforce best practices in system design, code quality, testing, and deployment.
- Guide technical decisions on APIs, integrations, and infrastructure scalability.
- Architect and oversee cloud-native deployments using AWS (DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway) or GCP equivalents.
- Partner with DevOps / SRE teams to drive observability, automation, and cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards for customer data.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.8+ years of software engineering experience with 3–4 years in engineering management.Hands-on expertise with at least one CRM platform (Salesforce, Zendesk, Kustomer, Zoho, or similar).Strong development background in Python and Java, with expertise in microservices architecture.Proven experience with AWS or GCP services (DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, Pub / Sub, Cloud Functions, etc.).Strong knowledge of system design, distributed systems, and large-scale integrations.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.What we offer?
