Western Union powers your pursuit. As the Director, LACA Pricing , you will play a pivotal leadership role in driving LACA pricing strategy to improve revenue, profit, and competitive position. Working with regional business leaders and in alignment with Global Pricing team, you will develop strategy recommendations, lead the regional implementation of price strategies, and evaluate the effectiveness of price changes to drive profitable growth for Western Union across the LACA region.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the LACA pricing strategy in alignment with the growth objectives of the Regional P&L owners and in partnership with the Global Pricing & Revenue Management team across retail & digital channels.
- Tailor pricing frameworks to reflect local market conditions, competitive landscape, economic objectives, and regulatory constraints.
- Drive the market operating model to rollout pricing initiatives across retail and digital channels, ensuring consistency and agility.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of pricing changes on sales volume, revenue, and profitability.
- Develop region specific pricing analytics and tools to support dynamic pricing, promotional strategies, and product management.
- Drive adoption of pricing tools and solutions to develop better more efficient pricing decisions.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of customer data, customer behavior, and segmentation to inform pricing decisions.
- Perform external market research, including competitor pricing, industry benchmarks, and macroeconomic trends.
- Identify opportunities for differentiated pricing strategies and value-based pricing approaches.
- Establish and oversee pricing KPIs and dashboards to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Present pricing performance and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing regional pricing team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Work closely with global Pricing, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Product teams to ensure pricing strategies are integrated and executable.
- Support go-to-market planning for seasonal promotions and product launches with pricing input and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with pricing regulations and internal governance policies.
Role Requirements
10+ years of experience in financial services, remittances, banking, fintech with demonstrated understanding of money movement products and digital transformation.Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing and revenue growth management strategies.Familiarity with pricing software and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Snowflake, SQL, Co-pilot).Demonstrate knowledge of the competitive, regulatory, and cultural landscape in LACA.Knowledge of digital commerce and omnichannel pricing strategies.Proven ability to work across complex, matrixed environments and influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.History of analytical skills with proficiency financial modeling, data analytics, and customer insights.Demonstrated exceptional communicator and relationship-builder, fluent in Spanish and English, with experience interacting with different audiences.Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field required; MBA preferred.Bi-cultural or multi-country leadership experience in Latin America strongly preferred.Company & Benefits
