Performance Monitoring Engineer

Our Client is one of the United States’ largest insurers, providing a wide range of insurance and financial services products with gross written premiums well over US$25 Billion (P&C). Finally, our Client is part of one the largest Insurance Groups in the world.

This role will be part of the Enterprise Observability team that provides observability solutions to teams across the company in the form of a shared service.

Will work closely with Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) and automation engineers to enhance issue detection, drive intelligent alerting, and enable automated remediation across a large and complex enterprise environment

• This includes instrumentation, configuration, alert creation, coaching, and ongoing improvements.
• Instrumentation, Implementation, Best practices, bring order with many stakeholders, best practices, someone with previous experience that has implemented, demonstrated experience in complex environment.

3-5 years of experience as an Observability Engineer, Monitoring Engineer, Observability platform administrator, Dynatrace administrator or similar

~ Experience in working in Complex environment in engineering or administration in a multinational environment from any industry.

Implementation Experience Automation / Scripting - Intermediate

Coding capacity - Desirable

Dynatrace - Entry Level (1-3 Years) Desirable or others similar (AppDynamics, Splunk, New Relic, Solarwinds, Datadog)

Office Suite - Intermediate (4-6 Years)

Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) - Intermediate (4-6 Years) Working knowledge
