Role

We are looking for a skilled Automation QA Engineer with hands-on experience in testing wearable devices and connected ecosystems . The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of automated testing strategies for mobile apps, firmware, and cloud platforms that interact with wearable hardware. You’ll be responsible for ensuring end-to-end quality—from device data capture to cloud sync and mobile app user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Android & iOS apps that interface with wearable devices.
• Design test frameworks to validate NFC and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication between mobile apps and wearables.
• Create and execute test plans for sensor accuracy, data syncing, and firmware integration .
• Collaborate with firmware, mobile, and backend teams to triage and resolve defects across platforms.
• Perform end-to-end validation of wearable features such as step tracking, heart rate monitoring, GPS, and notifications.
• Integrate tests into CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to support continuous testing.
• Leverage tools such as Appium, XCTest, Espresso, or Cypress to validate app performance and functionality.
• Document test strategies, coverage, and results clearly for stakeholder visibility.
