Collector Agent

Job Summary : Lone Star Dealer Services is looking for a motivated Collections Agent to manage current, and delinquent payments for customers with outstanding loan balances.

This is an on-site position where you will work directly with customers to negotiate payment solutions while maintaining compliance with collection laws.

Experience in BHPH (Buy Here Pay Here) auto financing is a plus.

The ideal candidate is persistent, professional, and excels in a fast-paced collections environment.Key Responsibilities : Contact customers via phone, email, and mail to collect overdue paymentsNegotiate payment plans, settlements, and payment arrangementsDocument all collection activities accurately in the company's systemInvestigate and resolve account disputes or discrepanciesFollow up on payment commitments and escalate accounts when necessaryAdhere to applicable collections regulations and best practicesProvide updates on account statuses and recovery progressProvide a great customer service experience and direct calls to the right departmentQualifications & Skills : 1+ years of collections experience (any industry)Strong negotiation and communication skillsAbility to handle difficult conversations professionallyBasic computer proficiency (CRM systems, Excel, etc.)BHPH (Buy Here Pay Here) experience is a plus, but not requiredKnowledge of collections regulations is a bonusWork Environment : 100% On-Site – This is not a remote positionStructured, fast-paced collections departmentPerformance-based incentives availableBenefits (According to Mexican Labor Law) : Base salary + performance bonusesLegally-mandated benefits : IMSS (Mexican Social Security) enrollmentAnnual paid vacation (12 days minimum increasing with tenure) per Mexican law is guaranteed after 1 year employment and requires a bonus of at least 25% of their salary (regular during that vacation).
