Responsibilities

  • Upgrade and optimize existing XSLT 1.0 / 2.0 codebases to XSLT 3.0.
  • Design and implement efficient, reusable, and maintainable transformation logic.
  • Work with Xalan and Saxon processors, ensuring compatibility and performance across environments.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize large-scale XML transformations.
  • Collaborate with backend and integration teams to support API-driven data exchange.
  • Apply best practices in version control, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications (Must Haves)

  • 5+ years of proven expertise in XSLT (2.0 / 3.0), XML, XPath, and schema validation.
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Xalan and Saxon parsers.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for transformation workflows.
  • Familiarity with Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Understanding of REST / SOAP APIs and data exchange formats (JSON, XML).
  • Upper-Intermediate English level.
