This position is responsible of providing support for regular line forecasting and
analysis activities. The main focus of the job is to plan, to do, to control and to analyze demand in short, medium and long period for all section 1, section 2, literature, pack material and ISF (independent sales force) items using quantitative methods. Operational subsidiary duties include : WMAPE, DPA and BIAS, monthly forecast variation control, historical data analysis, application of statistical models and development of statistical scenarios, events and outliers identification, cycle / seasonality / trend and sales level analysis, cannibalization and phase-out inputs and ABC analysis . Works closely with Marketing, Financial Planning, Local Manufacturing, Inventory Control, Imports, PDM, Recognition and Communication departments to collect as much information as possible to get better accuracy. Track the information to S&OP meeting. The role demands high experience with statistical analysis and forecasting. Easy adapt to forecasting and data systems. Responsible for the process in Colombia and Peru.
Responsabilities
- Responsible for the monthly update and analysis of the historical data, sales, events, outliers, trends, seasonality, cannibalization, cycle, source and status. Update and analyze the forecast accuracy / WMAPE and BIAS by SKU. Update the information in excel spreadsheets and GPS (Global Product Sales).
- Project and control all SKU forecasting using the ForecastX models. Choose the best model based on latest BIAS, model KPIs such as MAPE, R-Square, and additional information like UPOC comparative, correlations and qualitative analysis. Add Marketing uplifts for the future events by Calendar and S&OP Template. Forecast all ISF items based on historical data. Forecast Product Bonus and Showcases items based on SOS (Source of Sales) information. Monthly update the Variance Report, ABC Report and Accuracy Evolution Report with forecast revisions.
- Update the final forecast on the S&OP Template and share with other departments, like Inventory and Financial Planning. Prepare the material for the Demand Meeting, participate and do all the necessary analysis regarding the output of the meeting. Compare SOS x OFA and analyze the adjustments by category. Update the OFA (Operational Forecast Analysis) files for the monthly meeting.
- Responsible for dashboards development in order to improve the analysis and accuracy.
- Track and review phase-outs, prepack composition, local manufacturing transitions, monthly Dallas forecast freeze and prepare statistical scenarios to Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain departments.
