The Opportunity
As part of a world-class electronics manufacturing organization, the Senior Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead comprehensive recruiting strategies across direct labor, technical, and salaried populations. This role is responsible for developing and executing innovative, data-driven, and scalable recruitment initiatives that attract, engage, and retain the best talent in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and global talent teams to ensure consistent execution of hiring strategies aligned to our global standards, supporting both operational excellence and workforce stability across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Labor On-line and Off-line (Universal Operators & Production Staff)
- Design and implement large-scale recruitment campaigns to attract and hire operators and production associates across multiple shifts and plants.
- Partner with production leaders and HR site teams to forecast headcount needs and proactively maintain talent pipelines for key production roles.
- Coordinate local job fairs, hiring days, and partnerships with employment agencies, educational institutions, and community organizations to secure qualified labor supply.
- Ensure compliance with local labor law and company hiring standards throughout the recruitment process.
- Introduce data-driven approaches to reduce time-to-fill and improve retention during the first 90 days of employment.
- Develop early-onboarding and engagement initiatives for direct labor to improve retention, attendance, and overall employee experience.
Technical & Engineering Recruitment
Lead targeted recruiting strategies for technical, maintenance, process, test, and quality engineering positions.Build strong sourcing pipelines using specialized platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and professional networks.Partner with Functional Department leaders to define success profiles and ensure the attraction of high-caliber technical talent.Conduct market research and benchmarking for critical technical skills within the electronics manufacturing industry.Implement talent mapping and succession pipelines for hard-to-fill roles.Professional & Salaried Recruitment (Staff & Leadership Roles)
Manage end-to-end recruitment for staff, administrative, and professional positions.Support CT-MEX searches for leadership and functional expert roles.Advise hiring managers on candidate selection, compensation alignment, and offer strategy to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.Enhance employer branding and the candidate experience to attract top-tier professionals to a global, innovation-driven manufacturing organization.Programs, Policies & Continuous Improvement
Develop and implement recruitment policies and best practices ensuring consistency, compliance, and scalability across multiple sites.Lead initiatives to improve candidate experience, onboarding efficiency, and recruiting process automation.Build and deliver training to hiring managers on interviewing, selection, and hiring practices.Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service-level agreements with agencies and recruitment vendors.Define and implement recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire, turnover) and generate reports to drive strategic decisions.Launch targeted attraction campaigns and employee referral programs to enhance internal mobility and retention.Employer Branding & Talent Attraction
Lead initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice within the electronics manufacturing sector.Design and manage digital recruitment campaigns, social media content, and internal ambassador programs.Represent the company at recruitment events, career fairs, universities, and technical institutes.Collaborate with Corporate Communications and HR to develop storytelling and branding content aligned to the company’s mission and values.Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Postgraduate degree or certification in talent acquisition / HR is a plus.Minimum 4-6 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition / recruitment roles, preferably in a manufacturing or electronics environment with regional / global scope.Proven expertise in full-cycle recruitment, high-volume hiring, technical / manufacturing roles and strategic sourcing.Strong analytical skills and experience with recruiting metrics, dashboards and hiring data to inform decision-making.Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment sourcing tools; experience in process improvement and tool deployment beneficial.Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish; ability to partner with global teams and interact with technical hiring managers.Ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed, global organization with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.Experience in employer branding, early-career programs, referral programs and recruitment marketing a plus.Strong stakeholder management capabilities, influencing at various levels of the organization.Understanding of recruitment-related legal, data-privacy and compliance issues in Mexico and across Latin America is desirable.What We Offer
