Job Description

Responsible for the engineering, design, development, scheduling, and production launch of a Body-in-Closures. Responsible for supporting Feasibility Development through the application of Templates with Design Office Topics. Responsible for components and assemblies of the upper part of the vehicle up to the program's CAD milestones. Responsible for the System Requirements Sections and the Application of BIW Part Templates throughout the program. Responsible for maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for Engineering. Other responsibilities will include quality improvements, weight reduction, cost reduction, and other efficiency improvement initiatives, including communicating the technical status of the product to management. Engineer to support meetings during NA working hours to collaborate closely with local engineering teams, Vehicle Architecture / Concepts, and PDO with iterative models to

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications :

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited or equivalent program
• Five years of engineering experience
• Design / development engineering experience in Body in White, closures or exterior systems
• CAD experience,knowledge in full panels, door modules, knowledge in glass, door seals, mirrors, impact bars, hinges, rear medallions, trunks.
• Proficient in Google and MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
