Job Description

As a Jr Analyst, in RGM Pricing Solutions, you will help develop the Nielsen Analytics and Activation Practice business by executing marketing research studies and analyzing sell‑out data to recommend potentially the best way to optimize and execute in the different distribution channels where we have presence. You will be responsible for compiling, analyzing and interpreting data, writing client reports and constructing client presentations with a high degree of independence. You will generate highly polished analyses, summarizing conclusions and recommendations in a precise, client‑friendly manner. You will support the RGM Pricing Solutions team in driving revenue by delivering excellent project work that will result in repeat business with our clients.

While we seek candidates with proven analytical skills, we provide extensive training to give our Analysts the subject‑matter expertise to function effectively in our business. This includes training in choice‑based research methods, designing and analyzing market research, having closer communication with internal NIQ teams involved in each one of the processes we face and finally delivering high‑impact consultative presentations to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Project Execution & Management (85%)
  • Ownership of end‑to‑end execution (creation through finalization of inputs and deliverables)
  • Knows the whole portfolio / studies we can offer and initiates steps without prompting
  • Use of each of the tools we manage
  • Ensures internal and external deadlines are met
  • Collaborates effectively with Ops team members, Statisticians, Modelling, etc.
  • Identifies questions / issues and proactively seeks solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Additional Responsibilities (15%)
  • Consulting
  • Writes consultative report drafts using study data and client objectives
  • Attends client meetings and presentations, providing appropriate support materials
  • Be able to give simple presentations internally
  • Methodological Expertise
  • Develops foundational understanding of the RGM Pricing Solutions services & methodology
  • Develops understanding of Core portfolio services
  • Develops familiarity with NIQ assets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (Economics, International Relations, Marketing, and others related).
  • Experience with the Fast‑moving Consumer Goods industry.
  • Advanced level of English is a must.
  • Microsoft Office Package (Excel and desirable PowerPoint).
  • Strong Analytical skills, Intellectual curiosity and Critical thinking.

  • Demonstrated ability to resolve client issues in a consultative manner.
