Your New RoleAs a Sr.

Project Manager in the Warner Bros.

Discovery Media Platform Operations (MPO) organization, you will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of technical infrastructure projects across the enterprise that will transform the company's global IT infrastructure capabilities to a world-class level.

In this role, you will manage the strategy, planning, budget development, and execution of a portfolio of key MPO infrastructure projects including, but not limited to : network and infrastructure modernization; data facility build-outs, office relocations, consolidations and / or closures, etc.Your Role AccountabilitiesManage project plans and schedulesManage project resources, both human and technologicalManage and track project finances and procurementParticipate in strategic planning for infrastructure programsLead the process of gathering project requirements and developing solutionsAssist management with special assignments, such as evaluating vendors, gathering / evaluating consultant proposals, or other responsibilities as requestedQualifications & Experiences5+ years of experience of managing multiple technical, network and infrastructure related projectsFamiliarity and knowledge of technical aspects of infrastructure components (network, servers, storage, cloud, data center, etc.)Excellent written and verbal communication with all levels of technical and non-technical staffAble to establish goals and set clear expectations, prioritize activities, and follow through to completionExcellent interpersonal skills, including negotiation and problem resolution in a cross-functional teamAble to drive the definition of project scope, develop detailed project plans, and facilitate the collection of engineering, operational, and business requirementsStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsAble to clearly, concisely, and regularly communicate status, issues, and risks to project stakeholdersAble to function effectively when faced with frequently changing and sometimes ambiguous goalsDemonstrable experience of delivering projects on time and on budgetFlexibility to work multiple shifts as needed to support project deliveryExpertise in using project management methodologies and software, Jira, Smartsheet, ServiceNow Portfolio Management, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)Not Required but preferred experienceKnowledge of and passion for media, entertainment, and technology industries (including)Bachelor's Degree or similar work experiencePMP Certification a plusHow We Get Things DoneHere at WBD, our guiding principles are the core values by which we operate and are central to how we get things done.
