Job Summary
Develops and strengthens supplier management programs that enable a strong mutual beneficial relationship and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve Supplier Quality system
- Manages and maintain MRB to goal projected.
- Coordinating the incoming inspection activity.
- Raising SCAR in case of non conformance supplier induced observed in the receipt or in line.
- Follow up for SCAR with supplier / track cost recovery
- Weekly communication of rejections to supplier.
- Supplier PPM calculation & communication to supplier.
- Weekly supplier quality related reporting.
- Day to day Quality problem troubleshooting with suppliers processes.
- Responsible for Supplier- organization relationship management.
Education
Bachelor degree Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
Experience
3 to 5 years minimum experience on a manufacturing facility or Engineering environment on the supplier Quality Arena.
Knowledge
Strong knowledge and skills of precision device measurements using CMM, Profile Projectors, surface finish testers and all basic lab measurement devices.Engineering background with clear basic knowledgeVery good Understanding of Manufacturing processesKnowledge of Supplier Quality and Process improvements, Regularly Visiting Suppliers and Problem solving at supplier end.Additional Knowledge of quality management systems, Quality tools, six sigma etc.Quality control techniquesknowledge of statisticsISO-9001 / IATF 16949lean manufacturing principles, 5S's, Six Sigma, problems solving and master on corrective and preventive actions development and implementation.EnglishSoft Competences
