GEM-C is integrated into our commercial processes and works across multiple practices and Bain functions to develop and maintain Bain's expertise related to energy and materials.Who You'll Work WithThe Practice Consultant will be part of Bain's Global Energy & Materials Center (GEM-C).
The GEM-C ecosystem includes key practices and stakeholder groups such as ENR (Energy & Natural Resources), Sustainability, Social Impact, RDS, Marketing, and other cross-sector activities.
The ENR practice is the primary user of GEM-C services and covers sectors including Agribusiness, Chemicals, Mining, Oil & Gas, and Utilities & Renewables, focusing on themes like Energy and the Energy Transition, Circularity, and Technology.What You'll DoThe Practice Consultant will support IP and expertise development across GEM-C.
The primary topic scope relates to molecules (with related roles focused on electrons and minerals / broad commodities).
Key content topics include biofuels, clean hydrogen & derivatives, circularity & renewable materials.
You will work with other topic owners to define the impacts of broader market developments on molecule-focused sectors, collaborate with sector PAMs, and tailor IP for ENR sectors to maximize commercial value.
