Job Description
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst with deep expertise in Procurement and Supply Chain Analytics to serve as a critical link between our supply chain operations and our business intelligence capabilities. This role will be a powerhouse of market intelligence, benchmarking, and data visualization development. You will be the primary analytical partner for our cross‑functional Supply Chain teams, using your industry knowledge to ask the right questions and your analytical skills to find the answers. You will work closely with our IT developers to define requirements for new tools and will use those tools to deliver strategic insights that shape our sourcing and supply chain strategies.
A successful candidate will :
- Serve as the team's subject matter expert on direct procurement and strategic market analysis.
 - Synthesize complex external information (economic, geopolitical, commodity) and internal data to create a clear, forward‑looking view for leadership.
 - Act as the voice of the business, ensuring the analytical tools we build are relevant, impactful, and drive measurable value.
 - Champion the practical application of AI to enhance the team's analytical capabilities and efficiency.

Market Intelligence
Manage relationships with external market intelligence vendors to maximize the value of vendor data and services.Monitor global supply chain trends, geopolitical risks, and market / commodity fluctuations.Monitor competitor OEMs actions as well as Tier‑N activity.Conduct supplier and market research to identify cost‑saving opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.Develop and present executive‑level briefings on market conditions, providing proactive recommendations for leadership.Actively pilot and implement AI tools (including generative AI and AI assistants) to accelerate research, automate summary reports, and enhance analytical workflows.Benchmark
Conduct systematic benchmarking of internal processes and products against industry leaders and competitors to identify and implement best practices.Identify and support implementation on proven best practices that drive measurable improvements.Optimize Supply Chain processes through evidence‑based validation.Proactively identify emerging industry trends and disruptive innovations to inform long‑term strategic planning.Data Visualization
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources to build a reliable data architecture for reporting.Define standardization methods for tools development.Develop and deliver localized solutions.Support enterprise solutions development with IT development team.Monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of business strategies and initiatives over time by analyzing relevant metrics.Tools
Centralize requirements to appropriately prioritize tool development with IT.Drive tool adoption and enhance data literacy across supply chain teams through training and support.Driving adoption and enhancing user proficiency across SC skill teams through training and support.Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in direct procurement, strategic sourcing, or experience in data analytics and business intelligence.Exceptional analytical and critical‑thinking skills, with a proven ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.Proven experience with Power BI for creating, developing, and maintaining high‑impact dashboards and visualizations.Proficient use of Microsoft Suite (Excel and VBA).Preferred
Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Computer Science, statistics or a related field.Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM) is a plus.Hands‑on experience with Python or SQL for advanced data analysis and scripting. Experience with Alteryx for data blending and preparation is a plus.Experience defining business requirements for automated or AI‑driven tools and agents.Knowledge of intelligence strategies, global trade regulations, and supply chain risk management.Experience with project management methodologies, Agile or a PMP certification.About Us
