Technology Business Partner – North America

Location : Mexico City, MX.

This position will be located at the Mexico City site.

Our Sandoz flexible hybrid working approach allows US office-based employees to work up to 50% of their monthly workday remotely.

Preference will be given to local candidates not requiring relocation.

Overview

Sandoz continues to go through an exciting and transformative period as a global leader and pioneering provider of sustainable Biosimilar and Generic medicines.

This role supports technology and systems in partnership with regional business teams, global support, and product groups to ensure platform scalability, stability, and process improvement.

Major Accountabilities / Your Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for regional business teams on technology issues.

Coordinate with global support teams to resolve incidents across SAP, Workday, HR systems, Medical platforms, and EDI.

Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution with clear communication to stakeholders.

Support SAP Order-to-Cash processes and ensure seamless EDI integration with customers.

Act as the link between global support and business for all EDI-related matters in the O2C process.

Drive SAP and Workday business initiatives in collaboration with global product teams.

Support SMART MI US automation and optimization needs, identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Enable HR Business Services through technical enhancements and system stability.

Provide technical support for financial reporting processes and tools.

Partner with Medical & Patient Services teams to ensure platforms are scalable, compliant, and future-ready.

Support digital initiatives that enhance patient engagement and service delivery.

Coordinate regional input for global system changes, upgrades, and releases.

Ensure proper testing, validation, and communication of changes to business users.

Maintain technical documentation, integration flows, and support procedures.

Contribute to knowledge bases and user training for supported platforms.

What You'll Bring To The Role

Strong technical expertise in SAP (Order-to-Cash), Workday, and EDI integrations

Proven ability to coordinate with global support teams and manage escalations

Solid understanding of HR, Medical, and Commercial business processes

Experience in automation and optimization initiatives (e.g., SMART MI US)

Familiarity with financial reporting systems and data flows

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities

Ability to document and share knowledge effectively across teams

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

6–10 years of experience in IT operations, application support, or technical business partnering.

Hands-on experience with SAP (Order-to-Cash), Workday, and EDI platforms.

Familiarity with HR systems, automation tools, and financial reporting technologies.

Experience working in a global support model and managing cross-functional escalations.
