Sap Business Objects

ResponsibilitiesHands on experience on installing and deploying SAP Business Objects application in on-premises / cloud platform.Develop BOE universe and generate Web Intelligence and Crystal Reports, Power BI reports as per Business needs.Coordinate with Application owner / onsite leads to gather the Business requirement and implement the changes in Application.Extensive hands-on experience in both SAP Business Objects Administration and development projects.

Microsoft Power BI and Azure cloud knowledge is an added advantage.Extensive Technical knowledge on Installation, Configuration and deployment of SAP BO 4.3 in Azure Cloud environment.Having hand on experience on deploying SAP BO Application in clustered environment (both windows & Linux platform).

Setup and Implementation of Tomcat webapps, Apache HTTP services to distribute the load from front end application.Upgraded the SAP BO environment from lower to higher environment and configured the web app files in tomcat servers.Configured AD authentication (Windows AD, SAML, LDAP) and SSO setup in SAP BO Application.Configured SSL and Load balancing setup in SAP Business Objects environment.Content migration of Universe, reports, connections, user group, folder level access, events, folder level security, report schedules, Instances using Promotion management wizard and CMC.Configured BOE Services and APS Split to improve the performance of the BOE Application.ODBC setup and configuring the drivers in all BOE CMS node servers.Perform DR validation for SAP BO environment and address the issues within dedicated timeline.Perform SIT testing and validated the environment & fix the issues.Designed and developed Universes and reports as per Business Requirement.Leading the Project and coordinate with team members and complete all the requirement within project timeline and good quality.Handling support issues from business and end user.Provide solution approach, effort and estimates for any new requirements as part of project work.Coordinate with Business user for UAT validation and deploying the changes in production.Qualifications / Required SkillsSAP Business Objects Enterprise 4.3 / 2025SAP HANA Data ModelingSAP Crystal Reports 2020 / 2025Tomcat and ApacheMicrosoft Power BIAzure Cloud technologiesExtensive experience in SAP BO administration and development; Microsoft Power BI and Azure cloud knowledge is an added advantage.Experience with Installation, Configuration and deployment of SAP BO 4.3 in Azure Cloud environment.Experience deploying SAP BO Application in clustered environments (Windows and Linux).
