Descripción del trabajoProvide timely and practical legal advice to meet the labor / employment legal needs of a global company. Provide day-to-day advice and guidance to People Team members and business leaders in Mexico and Latin America on a variety of employment topics, including hiring, performance management, employee relations, leaves of absence and accommodations, workplace safety issues, discipline and termination, compensation, benefits, and union / labor relations. Partner closely and collaboratively with investigative functions, providing day to day employment law advice relating to internal investigations in Mexico and Latin America . Oversee employment related litigation in Mexico and Latin America , including responding to attorney demand letters, effectively negotiating resolution of claims, and making recommendations to the People Team and senior management on corrective action.

Job Objective : The Employment Counsel- Mexico and Latin America is an experienced labor & employment lawyer, responsible for Orbia’s employment law function in Mexico and Latin America. Reporting to Orbia’s Global Head of Labor and Employment, you will serve as a key legal partner and resource for the Legal teams and People teams across all of Orbia’s business groups in Mexico and Latin America.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 8 years of labor & employment law experience .
- Bachelor of Laws Degree or equivalent.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Prior in-house experience preferred.
