Position Summary
We are seeking a Sales Engineer with strong technical acumen and business development skills to drive sales of custom automation solutions. This individual will serve as a bridge between our engineering team and our clients, identifying customer needs, proposing tailored solutions, and supporting the full sales cycle from lead generation through project handoff.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients across manufacturing industries.
- Identify opportunities for custom machines, automation projects, and manufacturing cell solutions through consultative sales.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and presentations.
- Conduct client site visits to assess needs, gather requirements, and present solutions.
- Lead the preparation of quotes, bids, and commercial agreements in alignment with company goals.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
- Track opportunities, pipeline, and sales performance using CRM tools.
- Provide feedback from the field to help refine product offerings and market strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field) or equivalent technical background.3+ years of experience in sales of automation equipment, custom machinery, robotics, or manufacturing systems.Strong understanding of industrial automation, controls, and manufacturing processes.Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to translate technical concepts into customer value.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building long-term customer relationships.Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.What We Offer
