Position Overview
- The Data Analyst SME is a hands-on operational leader responsible for managing the collective priorities of the data operations team. The role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail while leading a team of data analysts through the activities listed below :
- This position is responsible for providing support in making strategic and tactical data-related decisions by analyzing, manipulating, tracking, internally managing, and reporting post-market surveillance data and supporting post-market projects through a methodical approach of planning, executing, and tracking project deliverables from start to finish.
- The position involves system level comprehension, attention to detail, organization, and constant interaction within the business to the accomplishment of the company goals.
- This individual will collaborate both within post market surveillance and across other functions, including quality and data management, to maintain project progress and ensure timely and effective project deliverables.
- The position reports to the Sr Manager, Post Market Data Operations & Insights.
- This position may support issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Additionally, the Post Market Data Analyst may be asked to support post-market compliance by (a) assessing the need for new or revised procedures / instructions and / or corrections or corrective actions and (b) helping to drive these changes forward; and (c) leading or supporting non-routine / high-impact requests for additional information (RFAI) related to vigilance.
Responsibilities
Engage in all stages of the post-market data operations including the following :Data Analysis
Reporting and TrendingDocumentation ReviewMaintain accurate documentation and files related to special projectsSupport database development and reporting capabilities related to the complaint / reliability department needsAssist during FDA, ISO or other third party or internal auditsManages, facilitates, and participates in continuous improvement projectsPerforms other duties as requiredLead prioritization and execution of routine and ad-hoc data operational tasks :Support review and deployment of final product data requests / analysis
Provide work leadership / mentorship to team members, including but not limited to, training support on processes and proceduresTrack daily team metrics to ensure performance targets are achievedEducation and Experience
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Level DegreeAt least 3+ years of overall work experience in a technical and / or quality / compliance discipline / regulated industry, with data management, record keeping, and technical aptitudeDemonstrated flexibility and ability to function in a fast-paced, growth industry and work environment.
