We are growing and expanding our Manufacturing Site in Mexico! In the role of Facilities Engineer Jr, you will actively support the organization by ensuring that our manufacturing site operates efficiently to meet the expected growth of our products in Mexico. You will excel in your daily tasks and responsibilities, experiencing a dynamic and varied workday.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions :
- Basic knowledge related to clean rooms.
- Understand the Quality philosophy based on FDA requirements.
- Oversee repairs of building systems, such as HVAC, compressed air, utilities, electrical, water, and gas services.
- Knowledge of safety LOTO procedures.
- Develop and implement documentation such as PM routines and internal procedures.
- Supervise technicians involved in installing, servicing, and repairing mechanical equipment.
- Requisition spare parts, tools, and equipment.
- Oversee work performed by outside contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Basic knowledge of NCR or CAPA processes.
- Basic knowledge of investigative techniques (Five Whys, Ishikawa, 6M's, etc.).
- Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical diagrams.
Authority :
Report unsafe facilities, damage, or vandalism to your immediate supervisor.Report any indiscipline to your immediate supervisor.Request indirect materials for production and spare parts for maintenance.Request participation of key personnel in EHS-related training, meetings, or campaigns.Qualifications / Education :
Bachelor's degree in engineering required.1 year of experience in manufacturing preferred.Basic proficiency in English.Basic understanding of mechanical engineering.Good interpersonal and customer service skills.Organizational skills with attention to detail.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office or related software.Basic knowledge of AutoCAD software.This is a manufacturing facility; employees may be exposed to noise, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, machinery, vibration, or other hazards, all managed within current safety standards.
