Ansell is looking for a Sr. Territory Sales Manager to join our team in Guadalajara, Mexico!

In this position you will play a vital role in achieving sales targets in a specific region or group of regions and promotion of the Ansell brand, in addition to monitoring assigned market / customers, identifying opportunities and risks.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving the annual sales budget assigned for the Territory, determined by the Regional Sales Manager. Maximize the resources under his / her responsibility and produce the necessary results, including six-month reviews of performance and service to strategic distributors and selected end-users.
  • Maintain close relationships with distributors, managing the flow of information related to technical issues (training, new product information, regulatory updates, etc.).
  • Collaborate with distributors to increase coverage by geography and / or vertical market.
  • Suggest adjustments in the distribution network, proposing new distributors or pruning underperforming ones based on performance and risk.
  • Monitor competitive activities and report relevant field information to the company.
  • Monitor the territory to identify opportunities and risks from market / economy trends and regulatory issues; provide feedback accordingly.
  • Support the distribution network by providing training to keep the sales team updated with Ansell information (NPDs, product knowledge, regulatory norms, etc.).
  • Keep Salesforce data updated daily / weekly and manage GUARDIAN presentations.
  • Direct technical processes for large projects and penetrate designated territories.
  • Develop product knowledge and ensure customer satisfaction through training and organizational leadership engagement.
  • Manage product mix and brand positioning using Salesforce and GUARDIAN processes.
  • Forecast region / distributor needs in collaboration with Marketing and Procurement, and share regional market information.
  • Provide end-user solutions and support (technical / training).
  • Participate in workshops, trade shows, and exhibitions.
  • Adhere to quality, environmental, health, and safety requirements; maintain clean workplaces and properly use PPE as required.
  • Engage in training and multi-functional projects to assume new responsibilities.
  • Qualifications

  • Higher education in Administration, Industrial or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Mandatory : Knowledge of Industrial Health, Safety and Environment; experience in risk assessment and training; at least 4 years as Territory Manager / Account Manager with Salesforce experience.
  • Microsoft Office 365 proficiency, especially Excel; basic financial mathematics.
  • English at least Intermediate (written and spoken); strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to speak in public.
  • Advanced English and Salesforce proficiency; postgraduate studies in Health, Safety and Environment; risk assessment and HazMat emergency management studies.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory (domestic and international as needed).
  • Typically, 40%–50% time in face-to-face end-user interactions; 20%–30% with distributors; remainder in administrative work (reports, Salesforce, GUARDIAN, etc.).
