Immigration Director-Latin America

The Global Program is expanding, and we are seeking an Immigration Director for the Latin America region to manage the regional immigration team. This role requires a high level of experience in people management, team development, and change process implementation. The Immigration Director, LATAM is responsible for the profitability, margin and revenue for the practice.

This role is 100% remote, working from home within Mexico, ideally within the Mexico City area. Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the LATAM region as the main point of contact for immigration program strategy and delivery
• Develop the immigration program for the LATAM region, focusing on the main countries
• Advise strategy for complex matters
• Build strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Sales and Business Development teams to identify opportunities and grow the business
• Serve as point of escalation
• Communicate with immigration authorities to clarify guidance notes or request updates; escalate applications when authorities miss processing standards; withdraw applications and / or request refunds of government fees
• Manage team’s continuing professional development and assess training requirements
• Review case assessments and initiations to ensure optimal caseload
• Work with the leadership team on region structure and headcount
• Manage the P&L of the practice
• Advise changes to immigration rules to the news team and support ad hoc reporting
