Stibo Systems MDM / PIM Consultant

Overview

Rate: $30–$40/hour USD (depending on experience)

We are seeking an experienced Stibo Systems Consultant to support the implementation and stabilization of a Master Data Management (MDM) / Product Information Management (PIM) platform for a large, complex HiTech/Retail environment.

This role will join an ongoing Stibo implementation that requires hands-on platform expertise, strong ownership, and the ability to step into a program that needs tighter execution and clearer technical leadership. The ideal candidate is practical, delivery-focused, and comfortable operating in ambiguous environments.

This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to expand beyond the initial engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on configuration and implementation support for Stibo Systems (MDM/PIM)
• Assess current-state configuration and identify gaps, risks, and improvement areas
• Support data modeling, hierarchies, workflows, business rules, and validations
• Collaborate with product, data, and integration teams to align MDM/PIM with downstream systems
• Troubleshoot platform issues and recommend best-practice solutions
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge transfer
• Operate as a trusted individual contributor without heavy oversight

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience working with Stibo Systems in an MDM and/or PIM context
• Hands-on platform experience (configuration, workflows, data models)
• Strong understanding of master data concepts (products, hierarchies, attributes, governance)
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale implementations
• Ability to work independently and deliver in fast-moving environments
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with distributed teams

Nice to Have

• Experience in Retail or HiTech environments
• Exposure to integrations with ERP, eCommerce, or downstream analytics platforms
• Prior experience stepping into underperforming or mid-stream implementations
• Openness to relocation within LATAM if needed (not required)
