Ingredion is seeking a motivated Intern to join our Internal Control team in Mexico & IGBS. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in internal policies, risk mitigation, and process improvement while contributing to a global organization.

As an Intern, Internal Control, Mexico & IGBS, you will support the Internal Control team in maintaining and improving internal policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency across departments.

This role reports to the Internal Control Manager and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams.

What will you do :

  • Assist in the creation, update, and communication of internal policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with departments to understand operations and identify control gaps.
  • Communicate deficiencies to management and recommend improvements.
  • Review and revise documentation to ensure policy consistency.
  • Participate in discussions on proposed policy changes.
  • Support remediation plans and audit follow-ups.
  • Review system user access and segregation of duties (SOD) in SAP and other systems.

What you will bring :

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Intermediate English language proficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
