Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sourcing strategies for resins, masterbatch, tooling, packaging, and MRO materials .
Manage and negotiate supplier contracts, pricing agreements, and long-term supply conditions.
Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and technical capability.
Lead supplier performance reviews, audits, and improvement initiatives.
Support project launches and engineering changes with timely supplier sourcing and cost analysis.
Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality departments on material specifications and supplier changes.
Monitor raw material markets (resins, additives, etc.) and anticipate cost impacts.
Ensure compliance with company policies, IATF 16949 requirements, and customer-specific standards.
Manage the purchasing team and support their professional development.
Lead cost reduction programs and localization initiatives aligned with corporate targets.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 5–8 years of purchasing experience in the automotive industry, preferably in plastic components or injection molding .
Proven experience in supplier negotiations , cost analysis, and sourcing strategy development.
Strong understanding of automotive supplier requirements (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP) .
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Fluent in English; additional languages (German, Spanish, or Chinese) are a plus.
Proficient in ERP / MRP systems and MS Office tools.
