Inviting applications for the role of Management trainee, Collections!
Looking for a focused, determined and competitive Collections representative, able to that thrive a quick collections cycle, satisfying our objectives and whose objective is to support Management from an operational, analytical and tactical standpoint, by handling stakeholder requests, along with running reports, maintaining files and leading continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires industry-specific knowledge, financial expertise, and strong communication skills to effectively handle collections.
Responsibilities
- Analyze aging reports, track outstanding invoices and initiate calls to customers with past due balances to arrange for payment
- Initiate collection calls to major account customers, research and resolve past due / billing issues on accounts that have resulted in delinquent payment
- Resolve customer complaints and research account discrepancies; analyze receivables data for customers
- Forecast cash collections, evaluating and escalating issues to appropriate contacts
- Perform accounting reconciliations, reduce account aging, and establish clear and concise communications; participate in presentations of account receivables information
- Maintain call logs and expected payment dates
- Expertise in portfolio management and collection processes
- Proficient in negotiation skills to agree payment plans with customers
- Daily interaction with customers, including follow-up when expected payment has not been received Assist in resolving billing issues
- Analyze payment trends and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Prepare metric and KPI analysis and explanations behind portfolio performance variations. Responsible for answering prospective customer’s questions and sending additional details required.
- Apply LEAN thinking within your team with a hunger to constantly improve.
- Provide guidance and support to your teammates
- Meet and exceed KPI metrics.
