AIM OF THE POSITION
It is responsible for detecting, defining and implementing projects that improve operations, increasing production levels, efficiency, quality and process safety. Executes projects based on specialized knowledge and provides technical support to assigned production lines, processes and machinery. Participate in negotiations that affect the design and / or quality of products-processes.
ROLE
- Lead - Coordinate Hoshin Kanri projects making sure that any project meet the 5 Axis and 3 main values of the company.
- Work day by day together with all the teams with the creation of Lean Culture - Mindset on the Plant.
- Collaborate with compliance with applicable regulations and standards to ensure that aerospace devices are safe and effective.
- Carry out and review estimation and capacity studies of the machinery, as well as the personnel necessary to execute the processes.
- Develop working methods to elaborate products and process descriptions complying with the guidelines of our quality system.
- Prepare flow charts / VSM of the processes.
- Search for ideas and prepare the preliminary studies necessary to automate or semi-automate operations in the process.
- Calculate and establish the rate of operations for the assigned manufacturing processes.
- Search for and implement changes in process and / or production methods to streamline routine operations, thus increasing production.
- Prepare, develop and execute validation protocols for new equipment, new processes, internal changes.
- Provide and give support in the process of transferring new products from another global factory. This support includes process development and new manufacturing codes, operations index and operator training, product packaging, labeling.
- Prepare and monitor the measurement method for the efficiency, quality and scrap of the VSM.
- Updating together with quality engineering the PFMEA of its processes in charge.
- Lead improvement and / or savings projects in their assigned areas (prior Cost-Benefit evaluation) using Lean Mfg. tools.
