Join a leading international pharmaceutical company in its quest for innovation and growth. The role of Senior Business Development Manager plays a key strategic part in identifying, evaluating, and executing opportunities through in-licensing, out-licensing, alliances, and new project development.

About the Role :

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will have direct impact on the company's competitive positioning and long-term growth across the region by driving business growth initiatives and forging strong partnerships.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities to strengthen and expand the company's product portfolio.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis of local and international markets to uncover commercial opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Assess innovative technologies, business models, and products aligned with corporate strategy.
  • Develop comprehensive business cases, including financial analysis, profitability, and risk assessment.
  • Lead technical, legal, commercial, and financial feasibility studies for new product introductions.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences, and networking events to build strategic partnerships.
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of business development projects from opportunity assessment to product launch.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Patents, Commercial, and Business Intelligence) to ensure project success.
  • Act as the key liaison with corporate headquarters for the identification and approval of new business opportunities.

Education :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field is required; Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience :

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry, leading new business development, licensing, or strategic alliances.
  • Language(s) :

  • Advanced English proficiency is required.
  • Skills & Knowledge :

  • In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical market.
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance processes.
  • Strong financial and business case analysis skills.
  • Excellent project management and negotiation capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and CRM platforms.
  • Work Location : México City.
