Overview

SAP Business Objects Administrator / Developer role with hands-on experience installing and deploying SAP Business Objects applications in on-premises and cloud platforms. Develop BOE universes and generate Web Intelligence and Crystal Reports, Power BI reports as per business needs. Coordinate with Application owners / onsite leads to gather business requirements and implement changes in the application. Extensive hands-on experience in both SAP Business Objects Administration and development; Microsoft Power BI and Azure cloud knowledge is an added advantage. Responsibilities

  • Hands on experience on installing and deploying SAP Business Objects application in on-premises / cloud platforms.
  • Develop BOE universe and generate Web Intelligence and Crystal Reports, Power BI reports as per business needs.
  • Coordinate with Application owner / onsite leads to gather the business requirements and implement the changes in the application.
  • Technology : SAP Business Objects Enterprise 4.3 / 2025, SAP Crystal Reports, Microsoft Power BI and Azure Cloud technologies.
  • Content and universes development, reports design and delivery to meet business needs.

    • Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on experience in SAP Business Objects Administration and development; Microsoft Power BI and Azure cloud knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Extensive knowledge on Installation, Configuration and deployment of SAP BO 4.3 in Azure Cloud environment.
  • Experience deploying SAP BO applications in clustered environments (Windows & Linux).
  • Setup and implementation of Tomcat webapps, Apache HTTP services to distribute load from front end applications.
  • Upgrade of SAP BO environment across environments and configuration of web app files in Tomcat servers.
  • Configured AD authentication (Windows AD, SAML, LDAP) and SSO in SAP BO.
  • Configured SSL and load balancing in SAP Business Objects environment.
  • Content migration of Universe, reports, connections, user groups, folder-level access, events, folder-level security, report schedules using Promotion Management Wizard and CMC.
  • Configured BOE Services and APS Split to improve performance.
  • ODBC setup and driver configuration on BOE CMS nodes.
  • Perform DR validation, SIT testing and issue resolution within timelines.
  • Designed and developed Universes and reports aligned with business requirements.
  • Project leadership, coordinating with team members to meet timelines and quality standards.
  • Handling support issues from business and end users; provide solution approaches and estimates for new requirements.
  • Coordinate with business users for UAT validation and production deployment.
