The Role

The Software Engineer I is at the beginning of their engineering journey, eager to grow and develop foundational skills. They write basic code under guidance and are gradually becoming acquainted with our technology stack. As a supportive team player, they rely on mentorship from senior engineers to navigate tasks and contribute to projects.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Write and maintain basic, testable code under guidance
  • Collaborate with team members to understand the company’s technology stack
  • Contribute to projects under close supervision to meet objectives and milestones
  • Actively seek mentorship and feedback from more senior engineers to grow skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • 0-1 years of relevant experience in full-stack software development
  • Familiarity with Go or C#, AWS, React, and TypeScript / JS
  • Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, or graph database technologies
  • Basic understanding of software architecture and principles
  • Desire to learn and a proactive approach to seeking feedback and guidance
  • Collaborative team player who values personal growth and skill development
