Senior Software Engineer, Back-end (Java)

Join to apply for the Senior Software Engineer, Back-end (Java) role at Collectors .

We are seeking experienced backend software engineers to build flexible and scalable architectures supporting collectors in researching, grading, and selling collectibles. Your work will enhance the user experience and help new users get started with our services.

Responsibilities include :

Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop requirements.
Create solutions with cross-functional teams.
Troubleshoot and debug large codebases.
Develop and run unit and integration tests.
Contribute to technical documentation for maintainability.

Requirements :

5+ years of backend software development experience, with microservices, event-driven architectures, and batch processing.

3+ years proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.

Strong experience with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases.

Experience with AWS cloud applications, serverless infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka.

Ability to translate complex requirements into clean APIs.

Optional : Python, pytest, Node.js, Typescript experience.

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and security practices.

Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
