Global Energy Transmission (GET, https : / / getcorp.com) developed and patented the distant in-flight wireless charging technology, which enables autonomous continuous drone parcel deliveries and many other drone-based services in the energy and utilities, construction, security, mapping and surveying, oil and gas, public safety, and agriculture sectors.
GET was incorporated in the USA in April 2015 with HQ in Portland, OR. In March 2024, GET opened a Mexican subsidiary, GLOENERMEX, to scale up its manufacturing and R&D operations.
Due to the scaling of operations, GET would like to hire a highly qualified and experienced Engineer to strengthen the engineering team. The Engineer will report to and work closely with the CEO / CTO of GET.
The Role
Primary activities
- Modelling of airflow and heat dissipation / thermal processes inside working mechanism / gear / electronic components
- Mechanical parts / tooling / constructions design for R&D needs and for commercial products manufacturing
- Analysis and optimization of current mechanical solutions to improve them in terms of ease of assembly
- Designing hardware layout for the best performance
- Developing design drawings / creating documentation for parts, constructions, electronics modules etc.
- Working in close collaboration with engineers and purchasing specialists

Key Qualifications and Experience
3+ years overall experience in mechanical designExcellent knowledge of CAD systems (SolidWorks, Inventor or equivalent)At least 1 year experience in SolidWorks Flow Simulation or similar software packages (Autodesk, Ansys, etc.) in modelling airflow for complex mechanism and / or moving parts2D & 3D design, experience in designing cases, control elements, moving parts and mechanisms, reinforcement connectors, loading structuresGood skill of developing design drawings / documentationAbility to quickly estimate mechanical stresses & loadings of structural elements of constructions / cases / holdersExperience with manufacturing process development & optimizationEnglish - upper intermediateWill Be an Advantage :
Experience of thermal processes modelingExperience of designing 19” enclosures for rack mounting, chassis for electronic modules, electromechanical systems and masts / towers up to 10 meters heightExperience in 3D printingKnowledge / experience with injection molding of plastic elementsKnowledge of suppliers for sourcing components, parts, internal and external elements which could affect product designSoft skills
