Strategic Purchasing Leader

Job DescriptionThe Strategic Purchasing Leader is responsible for driving purchasing strategies to ensure competitive pricing and meeting business objectives.

This role will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive regional and global purchasing strategy aligned with business goals.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute commodity strategies and regional roadmaps to meet or exceed budget savings targetsManage purchasing volumes for assigned commodities, ensuring optimal supply market positioningRepresent the commodity team to suppliers and internal stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and negotiating favorable termsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing strategies with business objectivesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fieldProven experience as a Commodity Buyer with strong negotiation skills and knowledge of purchasing systemsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environmentKPI-driven thinker with bias for execution and commitment to data integrityPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fieldExperience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint) and global purchasing systems
