Tooling Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design Cutting Dies and tooling to make Automotive Seals.
• 4.2 Analyze Cutting tools for opportunities of improvements on the design of tools.
• 4.3 Work with Machinists and Tool Makers to help coordinate tool builds.
• 4.4 Participate in the die trials to assist in developing cutting production process.
• 4.5 Revise Cutting tool Design to improve part quality.
• 4.6 Provide Cutting tooling quotes.
• 4.7 Maintain organized design libraries on computer hard drive.
• 4.8 Comply with Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, Workers Safety Insurance Act and
• 4.9 Cooper Standard Automotive Health, Safety and Environment Procedure
