Regional Business Development Director

Job Description : As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the sales and operations of our subsidiary in Mexico.

Your primary objective will be to double manufacturing capacity, drive growth, expand profitability, and increase market presence in Mexico and the Latin American region.This role requires a strategic leader who can balance operational efficiency with long-term growth planning.

You will be responsible for reviewing and enhancing internal business operations to achieve greater efficiency.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving growth and expansion in emerging markets, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and cost control.

They will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Mexican market and the ability to navigate complex cultural and regulatory environments.They will be able to lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of their work.

The ideal candidate will also be able to motivate and inspire their team to deliver outstanding results and contribute to the company's overall success.Key Responsibilities : Develop and execute a growth strategy in MexicoIdentify new market opportunities and expand market shareFoster innovation and adaptability to remain competitive in the Mexican marketReview and enhance internal business operations for greater efficiencyManage the subsidiary's P&L and provide strategic leadership to the local teamOptimize processes to support scalable growth and operational excellenceCollaborate with the sales team to implement effective sales strategiesStrengthen relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholdersLead, mentor, and develop direct reports to achieve business goalsCultivate a high-performance collaborative culture focused on accountability and innovationAct as the primary liaison with global headquarters to ensure alignment and coordinationRequired Skills and Qualifications : Proven leadership experience in sales, business development, or corporate development with a strong operational background in a similarly sized manufacturing environmentIndustry experience in metalworking and solid understanding of related products, equipment, and technologies is highly preferredDemonstrated success managing or restructuring business units with full P&L responsibilityExisting network within relevant industries, metal working is a strong assetFamiliarity with European business culture and experience leading teams in MexicoFluent in Spanish and English; German is a plus but not requiredStrong leadership, communication, negotiation, and team-building skills
