The Role

As an AI Engineer, you will be instrumental in integrating Generative AI into Stori's products to serve millions of customers across Mexico and Latin America. Your work will include developing LLM-based products such as chatbots and voicebots, and creating a shared AI platform for use across engineering teams. Your expertise will help shape the future of banking in the region through innovative financial services.

Important : This role focuses on building production-grade AI products and shared services for real users, not academic research.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) : building and launching products like chatbots, RAG systems, data analysis tools, or synthetic data generation. Open source model experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with AI tools and libraries such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Langsmith, or Langfuse.
• Strong Python skills with 3-5 years as a senior software engineer, capable of backend development and AI feature integration.
• Knowledge of scalable system design, microservices (preferably in Go), CI / CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-evolving industry.
• Strong communication skills, able to collaborate across teams and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
