About the Role :
We are seeking a professional with advanced English proficiency and solid experience in general accounting, financial reconciliations, and team leadership within international corporate environments. This strategic role will oversee accounting operations related to bank reconciliations across the EMEAI region, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in financial processes.
Knowledge and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting and bank reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and (or) ERP systems (Oracle R12 / Cloud, SAP) (Es un plus)
- Advanced English (spoken and written) is essential.
- Experience leading teams and collaborating with shared service centers.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Lead Cashbook Review & Reconciliation
Conduct periodic reviews of team members’ cashbooks to identify discrepancies.Support and guide the team in resolving mismatches and navigating the Oracle system.Ensure timely access to reconciliation data (bank statements, POBO, manual payments, etc.).Monitor trackers to ensure proper closure of items.Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.Maintain a strong understanding of accounting processes and account structures.2. Oversee Transactional Accounting Activities
Supervise the preparation of recurring journal entries and bank / account reconciliations.Ensure all outstanding items are monitored and resolved promptly.Review documentation of actions taken on missing deposits, checks, and memos.Approve journal vouchers and ensure timely uploads to OneStream.Provide guidance and support to Analysts and Jr. Analysts on daily tasks and complex issues.3. Drive Process Improvement
Participate in Lean training and apply continuous improvement techniques.Lead or support small and large-scale process improvement initiatives.Encourage team involvement in identifying and implementing efficiencies.4. Support Special Projects
Coordinate and contribute to short-term projects and ad-hoc requests.Ensure team alignment and timely execution of special assignments.5. Foster a Customer Service Mindset
Promote courteous and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.Act as the first point of escalation for customer service issues.Coach team members on effective customer service practices.Assist management in resolving regional service concerns.Información adicional :
