Position Summary : This AutoZoner Transit times Optimize Maritime and Ground shipments to get the lowest "lead time" in the supply chain, and keep a check on shipments in transit which would give visibility and predictability to Supply Chain members including Distribution Centers.Position Responsibilities : Supervise and coach AutoZoners and 3PL employees who move merchandise between AutoZone Vendors and Distribution Center and viceversa by tracking the traffic control, for all the Ocean, Inland, Air Freights in order to guarantee on time deliveries, identify desviations and take the proper corrective actions.Responsible of review and provide all the documentation to ensure merchandise flow in and out our Distribution Center, including by not limited to containers position, bill of landing, etc.Develop improvement projects for international and in country vendors shipments in and out of AZ DC's such as but not limited to transit time reduction, consolidation points, On time Deliveries, Demurage Fees, Deviations, Cost Savings, to improved the Supply Chain lead time.Provide visibility and certainty about the delivery dates across Supply Chain Team and crossfunctional areas.Produce management reporting of timely inbound DC shipments, outbound vendor returns deliveries.Supervise and approve 3PL transactions for timely settlement coordinating with accounts payablePosition Requirements : Level of Formal Education : A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.Area of Study : International Business BachelorYears of Experience : Three to five years.Type of Experience : International Traffic, Known of Chinese and Asia Ports activities, Imports by Mexican Ports Operations
