Role Purpose We are seeking a Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Director to lead Immunotec’s global purchasing and sourcing strategy, ensuring efficiency, cost optimization, supplier development, and operational excellence across all business units.

This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing global procurement policies and processes that drive profitability, guarantee quality, and strengthen long-term supplier partnerships worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the global procurement strategy for raw materials, packaging, and indirect categories.

Develop, negotiate, and manage supplier agreements ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance.

Establish and monitor KPIs and dashboards to measure supplier performance and financial impact.

Identify and develop new strategic suppliers (CMOs, materials, services) to support product innovation and expansion.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to align business priorities.

Lead cost optimization and sustainability projects , especially in packaging and indirect materials.

Ensure full compliance with corporate policies, ISO standards, and global regulatory requirements.

Build, coach, and develop the procurement team, creating strong talent pipelines.

Present analytical and financial performance reports to executive management.

Academic Background

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or International Business.

Master’s degree in Procurement, Finance, or Supply Chain Management (preferred).

Fluent English required; French or Portuguese is a plus.

Experience and Core Competencies

~10+ years of experience in procurement and strategic sourcing, including 5+ years in leadership roles.

~ Strong background in pharmaceutical, cosmetics, or regulated manufacturing industries.

~ Proven success managing global supplier networks and multimillion-dollar budgets.

~ Expertise in indirect procurement, packaging materials, and supplier development.

~ Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Ariba) and e-sourcing tools.

~ Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

~ Strategic mindset, result-oriented, and strong team leadership capabilities.
