Our Client is seeking a skilled professional to join their team in providing exceptional production support for software delivery lifecycle operations.
Job Description :
The AppBank SDLC Production Support Specialist will be responsible for systems and application support, problem resolution for critical applications, and ensuring efficient CICD workflows. This role involves collaborating with technology teams and interfacing directly with clients.
Responsibilities of the role :
- Provide systems & application support and escalations for Software Delivery Lifecycle Operations & Wavefront Products.
- Work actively with technology teams to analyze and resolve issues related to Code Compile, Builds and Artifact, Pipelines, and software distribution.
- Assist in configuration management to support CICD workflows.
- Identify defects, discrepancies, and trends through troubleshooting.
- Support infrastructure products and systems to enable automation and improve efficiency.
- Understand regional dependencies and drive regional technical requirements.
- Provide application lifecycle support for critical GS Internet-facing applications with a focus on improvement and performance measurement.
- Meet regulatory obligations, including internal and external audits and privilege management recertification.
- Manage incidents, report production outages, and conduct root cause analysis and follow-ups.
- Build and maintain relationships with various GS technology and business organizations.
- Contribute to the understanding and promotion of new and existing standards, solutions, and tools.
- Represent local change management and incident management for critical infrastructure products.
- Interface directly with the local client base, executing requirements within a global framework.
Required Experience and Qualifications :
3 to 5 years of work experience on LINUX system platforms.Strong Linux scripting / development skills in JAVA.Familiarity with technologies like Autosys, job scheduling systems (CRON, NIS), Apache, Tomcat, and RDBMS (DB / MS-SQL / Oracle / Sybase).Good knowledge of SDLC, CVS, SVN, GIT, Maven, GITLAB, Docker, and Jenkins.Understanding of DevOps dependencies including code review, builds, repositories, packages, and distribution.Knowledge in configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and related languages (Groovy, Go, JSON, YML, INI).Preferred Skills :
Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.ITIL and ITSM experience are a plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work in rotational shifts.Ability to multitask in a high-paced environment.Strong problem-solving attitude and capability to face technical challenges.Personality :
Collaborative team player with experience in global client-facing support.A proactive attitude with a focus on driving solutions.Experience in environments supporting 10,000+ servers is a plus.Prior experience within a financial institution is a plus.Multiple application support experience is advantageous.Software & Tools
Experience with DevOps tools, CI / CD tools, and various scripting languages.C2, Native
