The Electrical Test Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and improving electrical testing procedures for products to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards. This role plays a key part in supporting New Product Introductions (NPIs), collaborating with technical support teams, and leading continuous improvement initiatives in electrical validation processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Execute and document electrical tests during development, production, and validation phases.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to define test and validation criteria.
- Actively participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
- Analyze test results and propose improvements to processes and products.
- Coordinate with technical support teams to resolve failures or deviations.
- Supervise technical personnel assigned to testing activities.
- Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, ANSI, etc.) in electrical testing.
- Maintain and calibrate electrical testing equipment.
- Clearly document and report technical findings.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical testing in industrial or manufacturing environments.Proven experience with NPIs and process improvement.Desirable : experience leading technical personnel.Preferred : experience in telecommunications or electronics manufacturing industries.Ability to interpret electrical schematics and test diagrams.Proficient in using electrical measurement tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.).Intermediate to advanced English (technical and conversational).Preferred : knowledge of radiofrequency (RF) testing and spare parts management.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving orientation.Effective communication with cross-functional teams.Proactive and continuous improvement mindset.Technical leadership capabilities.Experience in RF testing or validation of telecom products.Knowledge of spare parts inventory management.Experience in designing or requesting test procedures from scratch.
